Host a Pickup Party
A Pickup Party is a gathering of 15–20 people who come together to clean up an underserved area of their community. But it's more than a cleanup—every participant takes the 3 Pieces Pledge, committing to pick up 3 pieces of trash every day. One party creates dozens of new daily habits and removes thousands of pieces of trash.
How It Works
Choose a location that needs love, pick a weekend morning, recruit 15–20 people, grab some trash bags and gloves, and get to work. Afterward, celebrate with a group photo and share it using #3pieces and #pickupparty.
MAKE IT COUNT
Document your impact with before-and-after photos, encourage every participant to post on social media, and tag @3piecespledge. Track your results—participants, bags collected, new pledges—and email them to info@3pieces.org.

The 3 Pieces Classroom Program brings environmental action into schools through free, standards-aligned curriculum for grades K–12. But it's more than a lesson plan—every student takes the 3 Pieces Pledge, building a daily habit that lasts far beyond the classroom. One unit creates a generation of environmental advocates.
How It Works
Download the free teacher toolkit and pick your grade band (K–2, 3–5, 6–8, or 9–12). Then, follow the ready-to-use lesson plans. Students learn about waste, take the pledge, track their daily pickups, and participate in a class or schoolyard cleanup. No training required—just print and teach.
MAKE IT MATTER
